Abstract:
Recently, a theory of continuously curved and phased line sources was introduced, which could also be used to implement mixed curvature and phasing designs, based on the stationary-phase method. Along with the theory, a solver of the non-linear differential equation was proposed based on step-wise integration from a starting condition, which was solved to meet a pre-defined direct-sound coverage target of -6 beta dB per distance doubling. As it turned out to be difficult to adjust the starting condition by hand, this contribution presents an iterative solver with the constraints of a fixed line length and a fixed definition of the audience depth in terms of the closest and remotest row.
